National Honor Society for Dance Arts
This is Columbia High School's 3rd year in the National Honor Society for Dance Arts, Chapter #NJ0065.
The National Honor Society for Dance Arts serves to promote and honor outstanding dance achievement in the middle school, high school and collegiate levels. The mission is to encourage well-rounded dance artists to become leaders in their communities both during and after high school.
Prospective members' demonstration of collaborative teamwork, motivation and participation in the many aspects of dance, choreography, performance, teaching and production all factor into their decision of eligibility for membership. The National Honor Society for Dance Arts expresses six distinctive qualities that allow these new members to stand out in the school and community--- artistry, technique, academics, dedication, leadership, and confidence.
